INVITED!

The invites go out this week... if you are coming to our ceremony then you need to mail back the menu (envelope is included)... if you're coming to our reception all you need to do is show up :)

Sunday 1 January 2012

Invite info

Ceremony will take place at 4pm

VENUE... The venue for the entire day is The Manchester Comedy Store, Arches 3 and 4 Deansgate Locks, Whitworth Street West, Manchester, M1 5LH.

DRIVING AND PARKING... If you are driving to the Comedy Store, the best route is to come in on the M602/Mancunian Way, and parking is before you get to the Store on the right behind Deansgate Train Station which is £2 all day, or there are bays on the street outside if you're feeling flush. Please note that Manchester is weird, and you can't park on single yellows until 8pm, even on a Sunday! So don't try that.

HOW TO GET HERE IN OTHER WAYS... If you don't fancy driving there is a free bus that operates around the town centre, or Deansgate Train Station is directly opposite the Comedy Store and the Deasgate-Castlegate Metrolink stop is directly above it.

ATTIRE... we are going for a 'wedding' theme, so please feel free to dress up as much as you like, even though everything will be on the most part inside, if you want to wear a hat – go for it! The wedding colours are purple and black so again feel free to join in with this if you would like to. We want everyone to feel comfortable for the day.

THE MEAL... included in this invite you should find a slip with choices for the main meal. We have tried to cover all bases but if you desperately need something other than what we've picked, please write that on your slip and we will see what we can do.

A FEW EXTRA THINGS...
wedding
We have made our wedding an over 16's event, so we ask that you leave the tiny people at home (probably with a babysitter, or at least a webcam or something) and come out and enjoy yourselves with us. The venue and the schedule for the day is not really child suitable.

We obviously are just happy for your company on the day, but it is customary for people to buy gifts at these such events. If you're hoping to do this, then we are asking that, rather than material items, people buy sections of our honeymoon for us. Be it a small meal in Melbourne or a days car hire in LA... all details will be here: www.bronandjohngetwed.blogspot.com

Phewl

well, it doesn't look like any one has contested our union (which is lucky seeing as John couldn't even remmeber my birthday at the interview... luckily the guy interviewing us recognised us from ComedySportz!... small world)... so we will indeed be allowed to get married...
